How To Add A Drop-Down Menu On Squarespace

A drop-down menu is a great way to maximise your website’s navigation space without overcrowding your site header.

It allows you to create folders that drop down into sub-pages within your site’s navigation, which can be especially useful if you have multiple pages under a similar topic (ie. individual service pages, individual team member pages, etc.)

How to add a drop-down menu on Squarespace:

1. Add Your Folder

In the page menu of your website, click the ‘+’ button and choose ‘Folder’ to add a folder.

2. Name Your Folder

Name your folder. This will be the name people will see in your site’s navigation.

3. Add Pages To Your Folder

Drag the individual pages into the ‘Empty Folder’ section, under your new folder.
